Passion – Take a

Passion. What are you passionate about?

Is it food? You have memorized all the recipes in Gordon Ramsay’s cookbook (if so, can you tell me where the LAMB SAUCE is?)

Is it fashionable? Do you watch fashion shows and make fun of the new designs that are for you? “So last season.”

Is it art? Can you point out the epochs of art by observing the differences between them? “You see, the era of memes from 2010 to 2015 was characterized by images of a cat that looked decidedly, well, grumpy. This contrasts sharply with the era of memes from 2018 to 2020, which was associated with jokes. on the outbreak of World War III and the “cancellation of the year 2020”.

Okay, maybe this last part isn’t a joke. But what are you passionate about? If you’re like me, maybe you’re passionate about cars. From what I remember, I was a complete gas station. In fact, I want to tell you a story. Get ready to go to “awwww” because it’s beautiful.

When I was growing up, I always looked out the window while my dad would take us somewhere. In my boredom, I found myself naturally looking at other passing cars. I was inexplicably drawn to these cars. I was so young, about two or three years old at the time, and I didn’t understand how cars worked or how they existed. But there was a bit of a spark, a certain attraction.

It was like seeing a pretty boy and girl and knowing that you had to go talk to them. Was it because of her physical beauty or was it because of her attraction to her soul? It’s hard to explain, but you know one thing for sure: you want to know more.

I think I was first intrigued by the cars for their beauty: the lines of their bodywork, the beautiful paintwork that would glow and reflect in my eyes as we walked, the sounds of the engines reverberating through space and my memory. while I tried to remember the almost melodic sound of six-cylinder working in unison. Of course, I didn’t understand all this when I was only two or three years old, but I felt it. I knew how I felt, deep down.

This big surprise made the little one ask me, “Hello, Dad, what a car,” as he pointed to a lovely random car speeding beside us on the freeway (I was a pretty kid).

He looked at me in surprise. “That gray car is a Nissan. Nis-san. Can you say Nis-san?” He asked me as he tried to hide a smile.

I nodded, “Nis-san!” That really got me going. “Nis-san! Nis-san! Nis-san! Nish-san! Niz-san!”

Then he pointed to the car next to him and asked excitedly, “Which car?” Then he would respond with the make of the car, and I would go on and on until he finally said to me, “Let’s play the quiet game! Let’s see how long you can be still, okay?” That’s how I started my love affair with cars, and my passion was transformed from knowing only the brand of a car to knowing the make, model, engine, engine features, suspension and aerodynamics. I can’t explain why or how it was, but it was. A spark ignited inside me as I resounded with a shiny block of aluminum passing at high speed beside me.

I guess that’s what passion is. Resonate with something and want to learn more about it. Gather a silent curiosity, with the sound (in my case) of learning more and more.

Anyway, at least I didn’t go down without explaining myself first. I think it encapsulates what I feel for passion.

“Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you. “

What are you passionate about? I want to know if it’s about collecting Russian matrioshka dolls or playing Uno every night before bed. Let me know in the comments below!

Be passionate my friends,

Andreu Gavin

PS: I hope you are passionate about something like this dog is passionate about eating ice cream.
