Within each of us is an innocent and esteemed self, waiting to be discovered. That includes you. If you are silent long enough and sit with yourself, you will discover a beautiful ineffable essence that Kahlil Gibran calls, “a fragment of the Divine.” I know this whole business of finding self-love and self-confidence can be hard to relate to, as an impossible task for YOU. This is because of the negative talk you have in your head about yourself or the feelings of fear and anxiety can be overwhelming at times.
So, for those of you who are single or in an unsatisfactory relationship, today’s step in our journey together is as follows: Fall in love with yourself and find the love you are looking for. When you treat yourself well, you will choose partners who love you. As inside, also outside. This is one of the last secrets to attracting a great partner. As I mentioned before, the main relationship we have as a model or model of intimacy and love are our first relationships with our mothers and fathers. This is the nutritional basis we use to build our close relationships. But usually our experiences of growing up with our mothers and / or fathers are not ideal.
